Web developersystems builder

I turn operational complexity into software people can actually use — from enterprise platforms and data-heavy workflows to automation tools and independent products.

Based in Montreal. Working across product engineering, databases, delivery systems, and technical operations.

Sec 01 / Selected work

Four systems, surface to core

Enterprise platforms, delivery machinery, and an independent product — each shown from two sides: what people use, and what makes it dependable.

  1. VisionHubEnterprise internal platformA multi-tool internal DBA platform that consolidates license auditing, environment metadata, platform monitoring, patch pipelines, and per-client operational views — work that was previously scattered across databases, scripts, spreadsheets, legacy desktop tools, and tribal knowledge.2021 — presentRedacted study
  2. CadenceIndependent software productAn end-to-end World of Warcraft combat-analytics platform: an in-game Lua addon captures encounter data, a Node/PostgreSQL backend ingests, validates and scores it, and a Next.js site surfaces rankings, player profiles, and a premium tier.Independent
  3. Azure DevOps Testing & Client OnboardingEnterprise workflow modernizationA client testing portal on Azure DevOps: Excel-based UAT moved into Test Plans, external client users onboarded as Entra ID guests into a repo-less project, and an event-driven pipeline — service hooks → Azure Function → Service Bus → on-prem receiver — that keeps client-facing bugs, internal work items, test cases, and legacy CM cases correlated by ID. A systems design problem wearing a configuration exercise's clothes.OngoingRedacted study
  4. Oracle Delivery & Change SystemsEnterprise engineering & technical operationsMaking complex Oracle database delivery safer, more visible, and easier to operate — across 11g, 12c, and 19c environments, dozens of schemas, a 20-year-old configuration-management stack (Scopus / PVCS), and a change process where a single careless script can take a client down.2021 — presentRedacted study

Sec 02 / Profile

Where product meets operations

I build software at the point where product experience, enterprise data, and operational reliability meet. For the past four-plus years at Jesta I.S. I have built and supported enterprise Oracle systems and the internal tooling around them — combining day-to-day schema, PL/SQL and patching work with hands-on development of the web, desktop and automation tools that make those workflows livable. A recurring theme: modernizing 20-year-old legacy systems with incremental, non-disruptive tooling rather than rip-and-replace. I own features end-to-end: database design, backend services, production UI, and the delivery pipeline that ships builds to clients.

The system is the product

A clean interface over a fragile pipeline fails users eventually. I design the data model, the integration boundaries, and the failure states with the same care as the screen.

Boring reliability beats clever fragility

Idempotent scripts, rollback paths, version-control headers, visible drift. Delivery mechanics should be dull, auditable, and repeatable.

Working range

Product & frontend

Interfaces for dense operational data — dashboards, admin tools, mobile flows.

React 18 · Next.js · TypeScript · React Native / Expo · Responsive UI · MUI v5

Backend & APIs

Services that sit between users and enterprise data, tuned pools and caching included.

Node.js · Express · REST APIs · FastAPI · JWT auth · node-oracledb · knex.js

Databases

Design, delivery, and administration — plus the change-management discipline around it.

Oracle 11g–19c · PL/SQL · SQL · PostgreSQL · Schema design · Grants & synonyms · Query optimization

Delivery & cloud

Pipelines, artifacts, deployment to on-prem and cloud, identity integration.

Azure DevOps · CI/CD · Azure Service Bus · Entra ID / MSAL · IIS · Windows Server · Git

Automation & operations

The unglamorous tooling that keeps environments known-good and teams informed.

PowerShell · Python · Monitoring dashboards · Alerting · Drift tracking · Teams webhooks

Applied AI tooling

Production AI assistance with strict structure and human review — not chatbots.

Anthropic Claude API · Schema-constrained outputs · Validation pipelines · Prompt engineering

Have a system that needs a surface — or the other way around?

The project brief takes a few minutes and gives me enough to respond with something useful, not a form letter.
